Denali State Park, Alaska — And just like that… our 5th Annual RVing to Alaska Rendezvous Rally has come to a close!
Set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Denali—”The Great One”—this year’s 2025 RV2AK Rally was our biggest and most memorable yet. With 70+ RVs and over 135 enthusiastic RVers from across North America, we spent five days celebrating the spirit of independent RV travel in true Alaskan style.
Held at the breathtaking Historic Chulitna River Lodge, this year’s rally overflowed with fun, food, and friendship. Attendees enjoyed a packed schedule that blended adventure, education, and relaxation. Highlights included:
- A welcome BBQ dinner catered by Patriot BBQ to kick off the festivities and an epic dance night with The Jerry Wessling Band that had everyone moving!
- Engaging workshops and presentations, including an RV Tech Talk from Shaun Ruschhaupt with Freedom Adrift RV Tech LLC, a wilderness survival talk from Trinidad Collier of Northern Epics, and a heartfelt story of dog mushing and veteran support from 2024 Iditarod finisher Joshua Robbins with Outreach22.
- A surprise visit and inspiring stories from world cyclist Gurkan Genc, who camped with us while on his 15-year bicycle journey around the globe.
- An RV Home Show where rally-goers opened their doors and showcased their Homes on Wheels. From clever storage hacks to solar setups and cozy interiors, it was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and inspire easier living on the road.
- Two potlucks, game nights, afternoon happy hours, and evening campfires that helped turn strangers into lifelong friends.
- And a free day to explore area excursions with our local Rally Sponsors, including Talkeetna Air Taxi, Mahay’s Jet Boat Tours, and the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
Perhaps the biggest highlight of all? The weather! Rally-goers joined the coveted “30% Club” as Denali made an appearance four out of five days—a rare and stunning gift that made our setting feel truly magical.
